Paco de Lucía was one of the most influential and renowned flamenco guitarists in the world. Born in Algeciras (Cádiz) in 1947, he revolutionised flamenco with his virtuosity and ability to fuse the genre with other musical styles such as jazz. Throughout his career, Paco de Lucía has accompanied singers as diverse as Pericón de Cádiz, during the tribute paid to him in his hometown, or Antonio Mairena in La Unión in 1974.
Juan Peña Fernández, better known as El Lebrijano, was one of the most important and revolutionary flamenco singers of the second half of the 20th century. Born in Lebrija (Seville) in 1941, his legacy has left an indelible mark on the world of flamenco.
