The text details Ripa Bayo Rinpoche's travels through Tibet; he not only took detailed notes on his experiences, but produced extensive drawings and doodles in the margins of the text. Each of the 1,604 pages reflect his experiences, insights, and his sense of observant wonder.

This manuscript is reproduced from unique handwritten cursive manuscripts calligraphed by Dripa Changchun of Dronpame, Yangchen, Kham. Dipa Changchun was a professional calligrapher commissioned to copy Ripa Bayo's handwritten manuscript. From the private library of Ripa Karma Bayo VII.
