What if Elizabethan style dress had never quite fallen out of fashion? What if cod pieces and capes were still all the rage? Recognisable contemporary clothing is overlayed with Elizabethan detailing and accessories.

Here we see Robin Starveling, played by Carrita Farrer, Nick Bottom, played by Lewis Jones and Tom Snout, played by Lesley Marler, in their not quite Elizabethan best. The period for the production is now, but not quite this now.
