Painting on wood dedicated to the souls of Purgatory. In the upper section, above the images of the souls, the Archangel Gabriel, holding the scale of justice in his left hand, trespasses the Devil with his spear.
In the lower section, a long inscription regarding the "perpetual indulgences" granted on September 6, 1784, to the honourable Brotherhood of the Souls, in Santa Maria de [Airães?], in the Archdiocese of Braga, North of Portugal.
