Banner of painted silk on a board panel in red, white, blue, golds, browns and blacks depicting a wind blown flag and an eagle with outstretched wings. The banner was presented to President Wilson by an Italian artist in New York during one of the President's trips there during the war. President Wilson highly valued the banner and placed it above his bed in the White House and in his S Street home.
