The motif adorning the walls of this basket is the mirror image of a Wasgo, a giant sea-creature, half-wolf, half-killer whale. It was painted by renowned Northwest Coast artist Charles Edenshaw, or Tahayren. His wife, Isabella K'woiyang Edenshaw, a recognized basket weaver, wove the support. Curiously, the creature's dorsal fin is reversed.

Le panier a été tissé par sa femme Isabella K'woiyang Edenshaw, elle-même reconnue pour sa vannerie. Curieusement, la nageoire dorsale de la créature a été exécutée à l'envers.
