The first panel depicts stones, chrysanthemums, a teapot, grapes, pears, a cold pot, chestnuts, elixir of immortality, twigs, peanuts, radish, and persimmons. The second panel depicts flowers and objects such as a magnolia, beach rose, orchid, pink, peony, fingered citron, antique bronze vessels, and a Buddhist ceremonial scepter. The items are arranged in the empty space without any background, drawn using a variety of vivid colors. There are four-letter titles of the painting in the upper left corner of the first panel and upper right corner of the second panel. And there are sealed phrases on each panel: “Learn from the cause of Qing dynasty China’s painter Hua Yan (華?, 1682-1756)”on the first panel and “Lee Han-bok, in 12th lunar month, 1857”on the second panel.
