The boys are dressed in smart outfits with large white collars, and stand on a path with grassy hills and woodland in the background. The boy to the left holds a cricket ball and points towards his brother holding a bat. The boy in the middle has his right arm around the shoulder of his brother to his right, and holds a cricket bat in his other hand. The boy to his left stands in front of a wicket, ready to strike a ball (unseen) with his bat.
