The composition comprises abstract shapes differing in size, which are characterized by organicity and regularity. A significant part of the work is covered by an off-white form, horizontally “spreading” across the field of the painting, which resembles a bodily figure. It dominates in size, organizing the layout of the other neighbouring forms, which together create the plan-like nature of the composition. On the other hand, its most intense colour accent is an orange-filled form located in the lower-right corner. Colour, in Jackiewicz's painting, constitutes the quality that plays a key role in organizing the intra-painting space, which, moreover, has been set via juxtaposing firmer tones of blue and pink with shades of azure and beige. The trace of the artist's brushwork is visible: at places, he impastoed the paint, giving the forms he created a facture quality – a crucial element of construing a feeling that there is no clear figure-ground distinction.
