Oil painting by Chick Wooten. Untitled framed painting on canvas of five figures riding on cart pulled by a mule with five individuals following behind. One rider on mule leads the procession. Sun is setting in the background which casts a reddish/yellow hue to the entire picture. Frame is of painted white wood. Chick Wooten (1930-2011) was a local self-taught eastern North Carolina artist born in Le Grange whose work focused on rural scenes from his youth.
