Paipo/belly board

Traditionally body boards have been the entry level craft for beginner surfers. Lighter, smaller and easier to handle these boards were surfed prone (lying down) which adds to the stability of the ride. Great fun for surfers of any age, superseded by inflatable surf mats and then the super popular Boogie board.
