Pair of jars and covers

Pair of jars and covers with small potiche, straight neck, the sides tapering to a projecting foot; the domed cover with projecting rim and knob in the form of a spotted lion on a green rock. Painted round the sides are peony and chrysanthemum flowers growing by a garden fence; in a band round the shoulder, three spotted lions in oval cartouches set in a blue ground with chrysanthemum blooms; and on the neck, three floral cartouches on a blue ground. The cover matches the shoulder.
