This pakkhi was part of a set of five, which had been gifted to the eldest lady of the house during her wedding. The surface of the fan was decorated using the phulkari type of embroidery. All five pakkhi were made using similar techniques. A decorated rope was attached to the top of the handle to hang the pakkhi from a killi when not in use.
