Palenque – Palace, House C, Hieroglyphic Stairway

This is a part of the hieroglyphic stairway of House C of the Palace at the ancient Maya site of Palenque, Mexico (right side of middle riser). The object is a 19th century cast from the original, part of the Maudslay Collection at the British Museum.
