Palenque – Temple of the Sun, Sky Band

This is a replica of stucco ornamentation on the Sanctuary inside the Temple of the Sun at the ancient Maya site of Palenque, Mexico. The object is a 19th century cast from the original, part of the Maudslay Collection at the British Museum.
