"Pan tumaca"

Ask someone from Catalonia what is the most traditional food or dish from their region and it’s highly likely that the first thing they’ll say is “pan tumaca.” This is an easy recipe to make: a slice of bread with a special type of raw, mature tomato rubbed over it, coating the bread and coloring it red.
