Shown here are an embroidered commemorative bookmark and a photograph depicting the Tower of Jewels and the Fountain of Energy at the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition. The Tower of Jewels was the centerpiece of the Exposition, standing 435 feet tall and decorated with over 100,000 faceted cut glass jewels called Novagems.
