Panorama of the city with visible suburbs, situated on hills, surrounded by fortified walls. Against the background of the sky on the sides in Baroque shields of there are the coat of arms: the Crown (White Eagle with a Sheaf on its chest) on the left, the city (Climbing Goat) on the right. In the right part, above the buildings of the suburbs, the hill with the castle (no. 18) dominates. Within the city walls there are numerous churches, e.g. St. Stanislaus (no. 13), the place of meetings of the Lublin sejmik. The picture comes from a multi-volume work by the Dutch printer and publisher Johannes Jansson (Janssonius) (1596-1664) "Urbium totius....". This is a repetition, with minor changes in the legend of the title, of an earlier graphic design by Abraham Hogenberg (about 1538-1590) based on a drawing by Georg Hoefnegel (1542-1600) contained in the work by Georg Braun (1542-1622) "Civitates orbis terrarum...".
