McLoughlin Brothers of New York printed children's books and made paper toys and games as well. The firm produced a series of sets of paper "rooms" to be cut out and assembled, to form a kind of dollhouse at the end. These came with paper furniture that children also cut out and placed within the rooms. Such toys were inexpensive amusements.
