Papercutting

Traditional paper-cutting is applied on red leather openwork. This creates a four-dimensional space from two-dimensional paper-cutting techniques and enriches the meaning and visual effects producible with leather. Through their choice of materials, the designers create a tremendous visual impact of fashion form and impart a strong element of Chinese folk art to fashion.
