Papilio zalmoxis, Giant Blue Swallowtail

The Giant Blue Swallowtail is the second largest African swallowtail in the world. The blue colouration in the wings is produced by a fluorescent pigment, rather than by the structure of the wing surface, as in many other butterflies.
