Parada 16 1/2

The artistic commission Parada 16 ½ by artists Nibia Pastrana, Karlo Ibarra, Karen Langevin, and José “Pepe” Álvarez was developed as a collective work that included a research-creation process within the Alto del Cabro community as part of the museums' 30th anniversary celebration. The first commission of what would become the Museo de Arte Contemporaneos cultural equity program: MAC en el Barrio. Parada 16 1/2 put artists directly in dialogue with community members to create new works that spoke to Alto del Cabro's realities.
