Paradise

Li Jun was a state-funded art student at Ilya Repin Leningrad Institute for Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (current Russian Academy of Arts) in Saint Petersburg. He had a solid foundation in oil painting. He constantly explores and innovates his style by learning from classical and Impressionist artistic styles as well as various styles of Chinese painting masters. He found his own unique painting language in realism. This painting is his sketch for Gulangyu.
