The parallactic triangle consists of three fir slats connected with screws in such a way as to form an isosceles triangle. There are two metal sights on the upper strip, and a scale on the bottom. The third slat, to which the other two movable slats are attached, is attached to a wooden post on hinges that allow it to rotate.
