El pino Paraná o pino Brasil (Araucaria angustifolia (Bertol.) Kuntze, Araucariaceae) es un árbol perennifolio hasta de 50 m y nativo del sur de Brasil, Paraguay y noreste de Argentina, donde vive en bosques atlánticos húmedos y prefiere suelos bien drenados y algo ácidos. El tronco tiene una corteza rugosa y muy gruesa y sustenta una copa con forma característicamente umbelada.
