Parasol of satin with woven straw; loops of straw form pom pom style embellishment at rod; 1/2" long segments of straw applied in clusters forming rows of squares; horizontal cotton chainstitch secures straw; straw "lace" comprised of looped straw chains, short segments of black raffia and short horsehair segments trims lower parasol; stepped triangular formations with applied straw button at each tapered base below lace; bottom of parasol is satin with lace at edge; curved/notched short handle; silver metal slider; lining of China silk.
