A man and a woman fighting, in shades of yellow, sienna, dark brown.
Almaraz was an artist deeply related to the last years of mexiacan muralism. This is one of his earliest works.
The main part of the painting is the couple fighting. The space is defined by the violence highlighted with the color palette. Some straight lines at the lower part mark the ground and the rest is a play of light and shadow that contributes to the tense atmosphere, The title doesn't lie, it's a couple but their disposition is not what is usually imagined at first.
