Parham Park is described as being one of the finest houses in Sussex. The house was built from 1577 onwards and includes parts of an earlier fortified house that stood here in the Middle Ages. The stone ha-ha, seen in the foreground of this photograph, was built in the mid-1960s and replaced an iron fence.
