While the previous example was intended for visitors, the water pitcher storage for the family in the same haveli was in the form of this room called parinda. Organised around the courtyard space, it was used to store a number of water pots for the use of the large family who lived together. The water pots would be distributed across the many spaces in the haveli as and when required.
