National Museum - New Delhi
New Delhi , India

This is the 23rd Tirthankara Parsvanatha, seated in dhyana-mudra, on a cushion placed atop the cosmic lotus. He is identifiable as Parsvanatha because of the snake hood above his head, which is his lanchhana (identification mark). On either side are nimbate yakshas Indra and Upendra, each standing respectively on a lotus at the end of a stem.
