Cornus kousa Beni Fuji brings colour to the gardens at Newby Hall in April and May. Flowering cornus, commonly known as dogwoods, come from Asia and the Americas and produce coloured bracts in profusion in Spring, followed by rich autumn tints. This variety also bears strawberry like fruits which are edible.
