Past Present Past

The past is recalled at every juncture of everyday life - be it in the form of nostalgia, ideologies, Narratives, manifestos, or to define the present. The constant need to invoke the past for the sake of justification for our present is almost cathartic in nature. The heritage of a past is always assumed to be that missing link that drives us to explore our present incompatibilities which in turn helps us to further our understanding of projecting a stronger future. But with the constant invocation of the past, the present is always in danger of being tainted with layers of faded glory which in turn adapts itself to a deliberate and unabashed definition of this current past - or Past Present Past.
