Patates Ziraatı (Book: Potato Agriculture)

14-Page book titled Patates Ziraatı (“Potato Agriculture”), was published by Republic of Turkey Military Academy Infantry Group Command in 1924. This is also the first instruction book we present to you. Especially after the 1920s, many instruction books were published in Turkish with Ottoman Turkish alphabet. This 14-page book on Potato Agriculture describes the process from harvesting the potatoes to the condition of the field, the sale of the potatoes to their transportation, the cultivation of the potatoes and its entry into the kitchens. A guidebook for the potato grower with the rules of its time and the topics to be followed.
