A low seat is also known as patla in the Mewat region of Haryana, particularly in Faridabad and Palwal districts. This patla was recorded in a temple and was donated by a devotee, to be used while preparing food in the temple kitchen. The design of this patla was unique and it was made using wood left over after making a khaat (charpoy).
