“When she wins, we win!” was Pat Schroeder’s campaign slogan for more than two decades. The popular Democrat was the first Colorado woman elected to Congress, representing the1st Congressional District from 1972 to 1996. When Pat stepped down from Congress, she had built a transformative legacy of rights and benefits for women and families.
