Zhu Ying,alias Ruixu, born in Xiaoshan, Zhejiang province. In 1940 he went to study oil painting in National Academy of Art, under the instruction of Lin Fengmian and Wu Dayu. 1988 he was invited to hold solo exhibitions in Chicago and New York. He is now the professor of Department of Architecture, Shanghai Tongji University, the member of Chinese Artists Association, the director of Shanghai Artists Association, the president of the Exchange Society of Shanghai Modern Painting and the special adviser of the Chinese Artists Association of North America in Chicago. Publication is Zhu Ying’s Selected Paintings.
