PCGG were the call letters of the telephony channel with which Idzerda opened a broadcasting service in 1919. The transmitter has been employed at various times up to 1931. On February 24, 1924 under No. 6976 patent was applied for the system of frequency modulation by NV Dutch Radio Industry, and obtained. The transmitter was probably used for experiments and the construction of a station for the KNMI, therefore the state and the technique are no longer the same as in 1919. The broadcasting transmitter PCGG was donated to the Postal Museum in 1948 by his widow.
The transmitter includes a number of objects that are not in the picture: a conical funnel microphone, a microphone and a phonograph / gramophone.
