Odontodactylus scyllarus, commonly known as the Peacock Mantis Shrimp, Painted Mantis, Harlequin Mantis, or Clown Shrimp, is a brightly colored species of mantis shrimp found across the Indo-Pacific Ocean. It burrows into crevices in sand near coral reefs, where they hunt for prey using the significant smashing strength of their appendages. Peacock Mantis Shrimp can grow upt to 18cm in length.
