Peasant Women

The choice and the way in which she treats the motifs and incorporates them into the painting, gives her work, the whole of the pictorial expression, the sublime quality of the monument and the mark of a universal work. Outside of the author's intimate poetics, it may seem like an embodied vision of the unbreakable connection between man and soil, but also speaks about artificiality in contrast - figures and motifs have become the structure of the image tissue subordinated to the autonomy of the pictorial.
