Pelisse coat and collar of brown silk taffeta. The collar is trimmed with bands of piping and the front opening with finger-shaped appliques which enlarge towards the hem. Those on the left of the front are trimmed with false buttons covered with gauged fabric. The bodice fastens with black flat metal hooks and eyes, and the skirt with smaller hooks and worked eyes reinforced at intervals with brown tape ties. The cuffs rise to a hollow peak and are trimmed with piping and button shapes. The bodice and back skirt are lined with holland. The fronts are faced with cream silk.

The cape collar is scalloped into peaks and trimmed with bands of tucks trimmed with piping and button shapes. It is lined with silk and ties with brown ribbon.
