Pelmet embroidered with raised gold and silver thread and silver-gilt sequins on a crimson velvet ground, with a plain white linen lining. Depicted on the panels are implements from the Temple in Jerusalem (from left): the table with the twelve loaves of Shew Bread, the Laver, the Tablets of the Law, the Altar of the Eternal Fire, and the golden Menorah (candelabrum). Most probably produced in Germany or in Bohemia.
