Mexico was the host of the IX FIFA World Cup in 1970. Two are the most remembered matches of that tournament for the “Jules Rimet” Cup that took place at the Azteca Stadium, alias “El Coloso de Santa Úrsula”: the vibrant semi-final between Italy and Germany (known as the “match of the century”) and the grand final, where Brazil, led by Edson Arantes do Nascimento “Pelé”, emerged champion.
