A pencil sketch of ruined buildings at Rushen Abbey and the back of Deemster Moore's House (now the Rushen Abbey Hotel), entitled 'Balla Salla Abbey - Isle of Man - 5 August 1774'. The pencil drawing has been pasted into a scrapbook and then cut out of the book at a later date. On reverse is the handwritten inscription '..lla Abby near Castletown - Isle of Man - 5 Augt 1174'. The collection of drawing is associated with Paul Panton esqr. Junior, of Plas Gwyn, who was associated with Thomas Pennant, Captain Grosse, Moses Griffith - who toured the Island in 1774.
