The first Pennsylvania State House, where President Abraham Lincoln laid in state in the Hall of the House of Representatives, April 22, 1865. In 1897, a fire burned the Pennsylvania State House in which Lincoln's Harrisburg funeral was held. The current Capitol building dates from 1906.
