Cooperstown, United States

A black-and-white photograph of two Grand Rapids Chicks players with baseball bats. Inez Voyce stands posed with a baseball bat over her shoulder while Lavonne "Pepper" Paire Davis holds a bat over her head pretending to swing the bat at her. More bats are scattered on the ground by their feet. The stands are empty in the background. The photograph was probably taken between 1948 and 1952 based on when the players were on the team. Donor unknown.
