Scene from the performance Ajaká – Initiation for Freedom, created with the group Arte e Espaço, where Inaicyra Falcão developed her own choreographic explorations. With a concept by Mestre Didi and collaboration by Orlando Senna, the piece is inspired by the mythology of Odudua, the orixá of creation. The group was part of the activities of SECNEB – the Society for the Study of Black Culture in Brazil – a space for the intersection of art, ancestry, and academic thought.
