At the beginning of the sixties of the last century, mature, defined works by Pedja Milosavljević were created - enigmatic large formats of mild color and feelings of anxiety in movement, applying color and achieving the desired lyrical effects. Perpetuum immobile would, in loose translation, mean eternal immobility. The composition full of symbols, entangled in the context of history, floats on the surface of the blue sea. The elements of the painting are the remains of the architecture of ancient civilizations - the pillars and pedestals of ancient temples as well as frozen sculptures, extracted from the chest of history. Witnesses of the turbulent past look warily at those who form historical currents today. Despite the melancholic atmosphere, light strokes and balanced color, Milosavljević created works full of serenity, which further emphasized the lofty goals.
