There are objects of personal adornment ever since 40,000 years ago and since then they have been hallmarks of status, age, sex or group. By selecting different materials such as seeds, shells, feathers or animal teeth, every group, every culture has given them form to make them personal. The election was carried out according to cultural attributions that made certain materials most appreciated than others.
