<perspection>(2015) is an installation exploring the perception of space through the use of many projection on a series of specifically oriented projection surfaces. The installation of spatial recognition audio induces re-recognition of space of the audience. <perspection> carves physical sensory experiences by weaving special location and space of video through transcendental cognition experience. Audio composed of various sound effects cause confusion in synesthetic cognition of the audience, and the audience focus on their perception on the images based on unexpected auditory experiences.
Pierce Warnecke is sound and video artist from the US, based in Europe for over a decade. He works equally in the sonic and visual domains by creating performances, installations and compositions. He is currently a full-time professor at Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain and teaches music production and sound design.
Since the first exhibition in 1990, Matthew Biederman has shown artworks encompassing various media and social environment, form and system, and community and continent. Biederman interprets the reality in which perception and policy are delicately intertwined through light, sound, and space. Through API which was jointly founded with Marco Pelijhan, the artist introduces new technologies for enhancing autonomous right in the Arctic region and pursues convergence of traditional knowledge.
