One of twenty-five selected specimens of pre-Columbian Peruvian polychrome pottery from the Museum of Anthropology in Lima, Julio C. Tello, Director. Water jar made of clay with one spout at the top and a geometric pattern around the top, wide and round at the top and pointed at the bottom. Presented to FDR by His Excellency Manuel Prado, President of the Republic of Peru, on the occasion of his visit to the United States in 1942. FDR Library Museum Collection, MO 1942.348.91.
